Have I mentioned lately how much I love bloggers? I. Love. Bloggers. It was like my Foodie Pen Pals match for April could read my mind…and I’ve been eating happily all month because of it!
The fabulous Courtney over at Little Food Court sent me a box of foodie love this month, and she made sure my chocolate and peanut butter cravings would be satisfied each and every day.

Oh wait, you’re not morning people? Sorry. I am in possession of the often-unfortunate quality of being one of those people who functions best in the early hours. I say “often-unfortunate” because it’s my experience that the general population loathes morning people. They resent–perfectly understandably, in my opinion–bright, perky, caffeinated efficiency before their neurons have had a chance to get properly kickstarted.
Did you know that Sunday is World Nutella Day?!
One of my favorite things about this whole foodie community is finding out the random national food holidays that occur pretty much every day. There’s even a whole month for oatmeal, my new breakfast love! So when it just so happened that I tried a recipe with Nutella during the week where World Nutella Day fell…well, sounds like fate to me!
